Starfish wall hanging / trivet

This is my starfish wall hanging / trivet.  I often walk on Folly Beach and gaze into the shallow water, looking for unique seashells and sea life.  Occasionally, I see a starfish.  It always amazes me how heavy they are and since I have really enjoy the way they look in a nautical theme, I decided to make one for myself.  This is how the starfish wall hanging / trivet was born!
