The great Blue heron, one of the low country’s most iconic symbols. I see them almost daily standing extremely still waiting patiently on the small minnows to swim by them. I usually only see them at dusk and all you can make out is the dark silhouette of the heron usually surrounded by marsh reeds and sea oats. I made this wall hanging to represent what I see on my daily dusk walks around the low country.
All the art I make are things I see and love. My main goal is to bring the beauty I see through my eyes into the eyes of others through art. And as long I continue to see the herons standing patiently in the setting sun, I will continue to make beautiful circles that encompass them and subtly remind me of my home, The low country.
The Heron circle is made from quality thick steel and has a hook welded on the back for easy mounting. The heron circle is powder coated so you can hang it inside or outdoors. So are you ready to bring a piece of the iconic low country into your home?
