Cardinal Porch / Garden Sitter

This is my Cardinal porch / garden sitter.  I made this after hearing the legend of the Cardinal, shortly after my Father passed away.  Legend says, every time you see a Cardinal, it is a loved one coming down from heaven to visit for a while.  I made several of these and placed them around my house and workshop to remind me of the good times we had and as a reminder that he is always with me.  

 After I made and posted a picture of these on social media, I had numerous requests to make them for people all over the world.  They too wanted to remember loved ones that are no longer with them.

 These Cardinals are made from steel and are powder coated; they can be mounted inside or outdoors.  The bottom plate has pre-drilled holes for easy mounting and makes a great addition to any house or garden.  It's the little things, like one of my Cardinals, that truly make a house a home!
