Turtle Trivet / Table Sitter

These are my turtle trivets / table sitters.  Every year around the beaches of the Low Country, Sea Turtles come and lay their eggs.  It is a once in a lifetime experience to witness; to see the baby turtles running to return to the sea.  Year after year, I go to witness the turtles and each time I have renewed aw at the beauty of nature.

 I am a big fan of turtles of all species but then again, who isn't?  I wanted to make something with my art to reflect on my experience and this is how the turtle trivet /table sitters were born.  I am proud to say that I have a turtle in 15 different countries worldwide, as many others have a special place in their hearts for the turtle.

 These turtles are made of steel and are powder coated for a long-lasting, durable finish.  They can be placed indoors or outside and with their many uses as trivets, table sitters or even wall hangings, they make excellent gifts.

The sea turtle comes in 3 sizes:

 Small: ( 6" wide x 7.5" long )

 Medium: ( 8" wide x 10.5" long )

 Large: ( 11" Wide x 14" Tall )
